Tee UP for Down Syndrome! Upside Of Down Golf Tournament at River Place Golf Course - October 8, 2012

Are you ready for the River Place Golf Course challenge?

The Inaugural Upside Of Down Golf Tournament will be held Monday, October 8, 2012! We're looking for golfers, both avid or amateur, to enjoy the experience of golfing at River Place Country Club's Private Golf Course, while supporting Upside Of Down! Proceeds from our inaugural golf tournament go to provide camp scholarships to individuals with Down syndrome and toward Down syndrome research, which is in dire need of funding. Results from this research could increase cognition in people with Down syndrome up to 20% and create opportunities for Presley and others with Down syndrome that are currently so out of reach!

River Place Country Club Golf Course

River Place's 18-hole championship course is truly one of the most beautiful and dramatic courses in central Texas, providing a mentally and physically challenging golf experience with breathtaking Hill Country views. The course layout was created during a multi-million-dollar renovation in the mid 1990s by architect Jay Morrish and Tom Kite, winner of the 1992 U. S. Open championship and the 2000 Senior PGA Tradition Championship at Desert Mountain.
