The results are in from the CLAW2 event that took place Thursday, April 19th!!! It was THE MOST entertainng event we have EVER been to!!! The enthusiasm and humor from the wrestlers, emcee and especially the referree, Boss Moss was just OVER THE TOP! CLAWstin, the Austin chapter of CLAW, raised $6,160 for Upside Of Down at their Arm Wrestling/Slapstick Comedy event!!!! These funds will go toward sponsoring individuals with Down syndrome from lower income families to summer camp and go toward continuing Down syndrome research!!! One of the things that they did was sell T-Shirts with the CLAWstin logo on it. They bought shirts at Goodwill and then had their logo imprinted on them. Check out this irony: I grabbed a shirt for Jeffrey to wear and it happened to be a Down Home Ranch 'Ranch Camp 2007' shirt!!!!!!!!!!! We've sent a lot of campers to Down Home Ranch in Elgin, TX, so that was so fitting!!! There's a picture below! Thank you so much to Beth, Jen and Amelia who produced another great event and for selecting Upside Of Down this year! Enjoy all the great pictures below! CLAW is an outrageous theatrical spectacle where regular women arm-wrestle each other in character w/ costumes, theme music, and entourages. The result is a cross between a burlesque show, a barroom brawl, and pro wrestling. A hundred percent of net proceeds go to the selected charity! The championship match between Pain Fonda and Spread Eagle...
.....and the winner is Pain Fonda!!

SPRING IS HERE!! Upside Of Down will be selling these gorgeous, HUGE hanging baskets at the Parkside Elementary Spring Carnival this Saturday! You can reserve one or two or more for you as well! They'll be available for pick up Saturday after 3pm. They are only $18 each and we take credit cards, cash or checks! They sell for $26.99 at the stores and nurseries!! All of the flowers you see are grown by residents of Down Home Ranch. "Growing these baskets is just one of the ways that our Ranchers support themselves. In addition to the work they do keeping the Ranch running, they create products like hanging baskets, poinsettias and lilies to sell to our friends and neighbors and businesses in the surrounding area." ~ Down Home Ranch representative Email Teana to reserve your flower baskets! CLAW USA exists to empower women & strengthen local communities through theater, arm wrestling & philanthropy. CLAW Austin (CLAWstin) has selected Upside Of Down to benefit from their 2nd Annual Fundraiser!! WHAT: Outrageously entertaining, theatrical ladies' arm wrestling tournament CLAWstin more than tripled their fundraising goal at their first event in 2011. Let's help them to exceed that goal again this year, while supporting Upside Of Down! Here's a video from last year's event! Make sure your volume is up and get ready to laugh your head off!!
